iRead Book Tour Policy
At iRead, we pride ourselves in showcasing quality books. Customer service is important to us. We work on an individual basis and screen books before offering them up for tours.
We accept books:

We require a copy of each book before acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse books that do not fit our criteria.

We accept books:
- From traditional publishers;
- That are self-published, but must be edited by a professional editor;
- From a small press publishing company, also professionally edited;
- From most genres in fiction and non-fiction, books for children, middle-grade, young adult and adult;
- In print, e-book and audiobook formats.
We do not accept books:
- Labeled erotica (hard core sex)
- Whose main theme is the occult or horror (no witchcraft, zombies, vampires, ghosts or demons) There may at time be some of these elements in suspense thrillers or police dramas, which may be acceptable. iRead will review each book before deciding to accept or decline it.
- Labeled LGBTQ genre in any category (it's okay if there are secondary characters who are gay). Sorry, we don't have enough bloggers at this time to fill tours for books in these genres.
- With covers that depict nudity
- That promote unethical issues
- Non-fiction or fiction books dealing with hypnotherapy or spirituality from the perspective of oracles, psychics, spirit mediums or angels.
- Books with strong religious themes that depict God, angels and demons differently from Bible-based accounts
- Non-fiction books of social or political analysis or fiction books with social, political, or religious themes that are disrespectfully critical toward any person or group due to their social, religious, or political beliefs. This applies to both liberal and conservative viewpoints.
