Audiobook Description: The Dawn of Destiny audiobook project is a full adaptation of the first book in the Epic series. It's not your typical āaudiobook,ā even though technically that's what it is. When people hear āaudiobook,ā thereās a certain type of thing that usually comes to mind. Most likely itās the thought of someone reading a book to them, occasionally with music playing in the background. This isn't that. What youāre going to hear in this project, is more of an audio āexperience,ā the audio equivalent of a summer blockbuster movie. Over thirty voice actors played a role in this. This is ear-splitting sound effects, bombastic music, and characters shouting back and forth in the middle of a war zone. This is unlike anything you've ever heard.

Hi Book Lovers! I've decided to help Lindsay from Nighttime Reading Center with the Reading for Autism Challenge. I like to support various causes and Autism is one of them. I hope you decide to join us as we raise funds for the Autism Foundation. How are we doing that? By reading, of course! So how exactly does this challenge work? Basically, for every book you read that is in some way related to Autism or Aspergers, you agree to donate a certain amount. You only need to read 1 book as the minimum and the amount you want to donate is up to you. It can be as small as $1 per book or feel free to be as generous as you like. Our goal is to reach $200. You and even your family members are welcome to join and sign-up as well. iRead Book Tours will donate $1 for every sign up. Diane Daniels Manning will donate $5 for each "Almost Perfect" book bought through my website and that of Lindsay's. I only have time to read one book for this event, and I will read The Rosie Project. Lindsay has also made a list of books that are Autism or Asperger's theme-related, if you need ideas. If you want to support this Autism Challenge you can sign up here. If you don't have time to participate but still want to help us with this cause, feel free to make a small donation by visiting the Donation Page.
Thanks for your support! Laura

Once a pair of student radicals, they are now raising their two brainy children on New Yorkās Upper West Side. Here is the tale of their fierce parental love as it is tested in a startling eruption of racial hostility and political chicanery within the very community they have long loved and helped to build. Despite the deep love and affection they have for each other, their domestic life is suddenly thrown into crisis by a shocking and tragic event: During a school field trip, their son Max and his best friend, Cyrus, are horsing around when, in a freak accident, Cyrus falls down a flight of stairs, and dies a few days later. The fact that Cyrus is black, that his mother is Bettinaās closest friendāthat jealousy, suspicion and resentment have long been simmering in the community, and that there are powerful political forces at work as wellāall conspire to reveal an ugly underbelly of the community the Grosjeans have worked so hard to fashion into a model of an enlightened, multiracial world. Upper West Side Story is also the story of a remarkable multi-racial friendship, of two women united by their ideals and their devotion to their children, then divided by events that spiral out of control. With cries for racial justice rising up all around our country, we must stop and consider how recent headlines are impacting our children, kids raised to believe in an America that is different from the one now showing its face. Not only does Lauren do a fantastic job of organizing the tour and communicating with you at every step of the way, but I found the tour hosts that signed up for her tour to be of a higher caliber. The reviews that I got on this tour were thoughtful and well-written and I noticed an uptick in sales during this tour. I also appreciated the fact that many of her tour hosts that wrote reviews posted them on multiple sites, not just on their blog or Instagram account. This is invaluable to an author. I highly recommend Lauren and iReads Book Tours. - Allyson Rice, author of The Key to Circus-Mom Highway
Lauren Carr's iReads Book Tour is amazing! She gets real results. Not only did I get thousands of new eyes on my series, but I grew my following on all social media channels as well. Lauren has a dedicated group of reviewers and bloggers who are competent and reliable - no more wasted ARCs mailed out with no results.
