After selling his dorm-room startup for millions and effectively retiring at the age of twenty-five, Alex Fife is eager for a new challenge. When he agrees to clean up an old PC as a favor, he never expects to find the adventure of a lifetime waiting for him inside the machine. But as he rummages through old emails, Alex stumbles upon a startling discovery: The previous owner, a shady antiques smuggler, had been trying to unload a mysterious object known as the Florentine on the black market. And with the dealer’s untimely passing, the Florentine is now unaccounted for and ripe for the taking. Alex dives headfirst into a hunt for the priceless object. What starts out as a seemingly innocuous pursuit quickly devolves into a nightmare when Alex discovers the true technological nature of the Florentine. Not just a lost treasure, it’s something far more insidious: a weapon that could bring the developed world to its knees. Alex races through subterranean grottos, freezing morgues, and hidden cellars in the dark underbelly of Los Angeles, desperate to find the Florentine before it falls into the wrong hands. Because if nefarious forces find it first, there’ll be nothing Alex—or anyone else—can do to prevent a catastrophic attack. Book Title: The CleanSweep Conspiracy by Chuck Waldron Category: Adult fiction, 304 pages Genre: Thriller / dystopian Publisher: CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform Release date: March 2016 Available for review in: Print, gifted Kindle or PDF Will send print books: Internationally Tour dates: May 30 to June 30, 2016 Content Rating: PG + M Book Description: Matt Tremain publishes Verité, a modest blog dedicated to writing about the truth and exposing scams. Currently, he’s following up on rumors concerning something called CleanSweep, a mysterious project in Toronto, Canada. Matt gets his break when a whistleblower connects CleanSweep to billionaire Charles Claussen. Claussen plans to rid Toronto of undesirables, beginning with street people and extending to any citizens who don’t match Claussen’s restrictive screening matrix. With the help of a high-ranking government official, Claussen plans to incite riots and violent unrest, conning Torontonians into sacrificing privacy and civil liberties for illusionary security and safety. Toronto will be reduced to a repressive city-state. The information overwhelms Matt, who doubts he has the courage, skill, or readership to take on CleanSweep. But the murder of his source convinces the blogger to take a stand—although he’s too late to prevent chaos from gripping Toronto’s streets. To get the word out, Matt’s going to need allies. He may have found some in a Toronto police detective and a local TV reporter pursuing the same story—presuming they aren’t allied with Claussen. If they are, Matt’s going to become yet another victim of CleanSweep, and the truth will be buried forever. Buy the book: Amazon
Meet the author:
Born in Iowa, Chuck Waldron lived in Ontario, Canada, before relocating to Florida’s Treasure Coast. Over the years, he’s held many jobs. The ones he can mention in print include US Army soldier, truck driver, office manager, mailman, real estate salesman, social worker, hardware store clerk, and shuttle driver. Fate played a crucial role when he walked into his first writing class, and he still honors the memory of the teacher, Henrietta. She gave him permission to write. That—along with countless writing groups, classes, seminars, and much sweat—has resulted in over fifty short stories and four novels. Waldron often likes to pretend interest, lacks perseverance, and could generally use a good talking to—until it comes to his writing, that is. He and his wife Suzanne reside in Port St. Lucie, Florida. While keeping an eye out for hurricanes, alligators, and Burmese pythons, he’s busy writing his next novel Connect with the author: Website Twitter Facebook TOUR SCHEDULE: May 30 - #redhead.with.book - book spotlight / guest post / giveaway May 30 - Library of Clean Reads - review / giveaway May 31 - Rockin' Book Reviews - review / guest post / giveaway June 1 - Book and Ink - review / giveaway June 2 - Writers and Authors - guest post / giveaway June 2 - Sahar's Blog - review June 3 - Olio by Marilyn - review / author interview June 6 - Brian's Book Blog - review / giveaway June 7 - Jaquo Lifestyle Magazine - review June 8 - Celticlady's Reviews - book spotlight / giveaway June 8 - A Mama's Corner of the World - review / giveaway June 9 - fundinmental - review / giveaway June 10 - Vic's Media Room - review June 10 - The Autistic Gamer - review June 13 - Mystery Suspense Reviews - book spotlight / guest post June 13 - misty103 @ HubPages - review / author interview June 14 - Bound 4 Escape - review / giveaway June 14 - Readers' Muse - review / guest post June 15 - Discovering/Writing Life - review / author interview / giveaway June 16 - The Irresponsible Reader - review / author interview June 17 - Northernmsw - review June 17 - Deal Sharing Aunt - review / author interview / giveaway June 20 - Olivia's Catastrophe - review / giveaway June 21 - Based on a True Story - review June 22 - A Bookworm's Musing - review June 23 - Roughseasinthemed - review / giveaway June 24 - Book Reviews Nature Photos - review / author interview June 24 - Life as Leels - review June 25 - Writers and Authors - review June 27 - StoreyBook Reviews - review / giveaway June 29 - Cover2Cover - review / giveaway June 30 - Jessica Cassidy - review Enter the Giveaway!

BOOK #1 of The Verona Trilogy:Young Adult, Post-Dystopian Fiction
It's the 24th century and humans, with the help of artificial intelligences (A.I.s), have finally created the perfect post-dystopian society. To make equally perfect citizens for this world, the elders have created History Camps, full sized recreations of cities from Earth's distant pasts.
Here teens live the way their ancestors did, doing the same dirty jobs and experiencing the same degradations. History Camps teach youths not to repeat the mistakes that almost caused the planet to die. But not everything goes to plan.
In this first of a trilogy, we meet three spoiled teens in the year 2347. Hansum almost 17, is good looking and athletic. Shamira, 15, is sassy, independent and an artistic genius. Lincoln, 14, is the smart-aleck. But you don't have to scratch too far beneath the surface to find his insecurities.
These three “hard cases” refuse the valuable lessons History Camps teach. But when they are kidnapped and taken back in time to 1347 Verona, Italy, they only have two choices; adapt to the harsh medieval ways or die. The dangers are many, their enemies are powerful, and safety is a long way away. It's hardly the ideal environment to fall in love – but that's exactly what happens. In an attempt to survive, the trio risks introducing technology from the future. It could save them – or it could change history.

About the author:
"I write Post-Dystopian fiction. After society’s collapse, which is imagined in so many great dystopian stories, humans will either fade into history, with the dinosaurs, or, if it learns the right lessons, society will go on to construct a civilization to last tens of thousands of years. The books of THE VERONA TRILOGY are the exciting adventures of young people doing the latter.” -Lory Kaufman On the artistic side of Lory’s career, he’s written, acted and directed children’s theatre and musical theatre. He enjoys art, especially sculpture. He loves science fiction and historical fiction and he has been deeply involved in the green movement all across North America. All this shows through when you read his work. Lory has three grown children and works and lives in Kingston, Canada. Author website: www.lorykaufman.com

Not only does Lauren do a fantastic job of organizing the tour and communicating with you at every step of the way, but I found the tour hosts that signed up for her tour to be of a higher caliber. The reviews that I got on this tour were thoughtful and well-written and I noticed an uptick in sales during this tour. I also appreciated the fact that many of her tour hosts that wrote reviews posted them on multiple sites, not just on their blog or Instagram account. This is invaluable to an author. I highly recommend Lauren and iReads Book Tours. - Allyson Rice, author of The Key to Circus-Mom Highway
