We'd love to have you on board!
We're excited to bring you our first audiobook tour! More and more readers are opting to listen to books while in their car, working out at the gym, doing household chores, walking the dog, knitting...(yeah, I know a blogger who listens to tons of audiobooks this way) or just plain relaxing. Audiobook reviews are important for authors to market this version of their book. How was the narrator? Did she capture the voice of the characters. Were you transported to another time and place? Did you love the different accents of the characters? All these elements are what makes listening to an audiobook a different experience from reading the book. We hope you join us in making this inaugural tour a smashing success! Join us for this contemporary romance inaugural audiobook tour from Nov 24 to Dec 12! If you're interested in this tour, and you did not receive an email offer, leave a comment or contact us. Book Details: Book Title: The Publicist (Book #1) by Christina George Category: Adult fiction Genre: Contemporary Romance Publisher: Audible Length: 6 hours Release Date: Oct 30, 2014 Narrator: Lisa Cordileone Audiobook available: Internationally Tour dates: Nov 24 to Dec 12, 2014 Content Rating: PG-13 About the book: Behind every book, there’s always more to the story. Can one woman change an age-old institution like publishing? Probably not, but Kate Mitchell sure wants to try. As a publicist with a large, respected New York publishing house, Kate finds herself at the mercy of a broken publishing system, books that don’t always sell (at all) and author egos that are often, well, as big as the island of Manhattan. Enter the star Editor, MacDermott Ellis. Tall, handsome, charismatic, married, and ready to save the day. Kate wants to do the right thing but her hormones seem to be driving her decisions. Then there’s Allan Lavigne, once a revered author, now as forgotten as yesterday’s news; and his nephew Nick, who wants to sweep Kate away from New York for another coast, California. As Kate tries to navigate the landmine of publicity, the over-the-top author expectations, and the careful dance of “I’m sorry, your book isn’t on the bestseller list this week”, she also finds authors who are painfully overlooked by a publisher wanting more sex, more celebrities, and more scandal. Buy the Audiobook: Audible Meet the Author:
Christina George has worked in publishing for twenty years (give or take). Here’s what this book isn't. It’s not a slam against publishing (though it is broken) and it’s not a slam against authors (though some of them are crazy). This book is not autobiographical though many of the stories are true. No you won’t know which ones, cause it’s more fun to guess, right? George continues to work in publicity and helps authors because at the end of the day she does love books, she loves publishing, and she loves authors. She hopes you’ll enjoy this romp through Kate’s world as much as she enjoyed creating it.

Not only does Lauren do a fantastic job of organizing the tour and communicating with you at every step of the way, but I found the tour hosts that signed up for her tour to be of a higher caliber. The reviews that I got on this tour were thoughtful and well-written and I noticed an uptick in sales during this tour. I also appreciated the fact that many of her tour hosts that wrote reviews posted them on multiple sites, not just on their blog or Instagram account. This is invaluable to an author. I highly recommend Lauren and iReads Book Tours. - Allyson Rice, author of The Key to Circus-Mom Highway
Lauren Carr's iReads Book Tour is amazing! She gets real results. Not only did I get thousands of new eyes on my series, but I grew my following on all social media channels as well. Lauren has a dedicated group of reviewers and bloggers who are competent and reliable - no more wasted ARCs mailed out with no results.
