More and more readers are opting to listen to books while in their car, working out at the gym, doing household chores, walking the dog, knitting...(yeah, I know a blogger who listens to tons of audiobooks this way) or just plain relaxing. Audiobook reviews are important for authors to market this version of their book. How was the narrator? Did she capture the voice of the characters. Were you transported to another time and place? Did you love the different accents of the characters? All these elements are what makes listening to an audiobook a different experience from reading the book. It’s not a slam against publishing (though it is broken) and it’s not a slam against authors (though some of them are crazy). This book is not autobiographical though many of the stories are true. No you won’t know which ones, cause it’s more fun to guess, right? George continues to work in publicity and helps authors because at the end of the day she does love books, she loves publishing, and she loves authors. He was the staff artist of the Jerusalem Report Magazine from its first issue in 1990 until 2012, and is active in the international Cartooning for Peace program. He has illustrated over 160 books in Israel and the U.S. including the National Jewish Book Award winning JPS Illustrated Children’s Bible.
