Book Details: Book Title: BLOOMING ROSE BLASTS OFF! by Lauren Piland Category: Children's Fiction (Ages 3-7), 38 pages Genre: Children's Picture Book Publisher: Mascot Books Release date: Jan 10, 2023 Format available for review: print-hardback (USA), PDF Tour dates: Jan 10 to Jan 30, 2023 Content Rating: G for all kids.
Book Description:
Rose loves to write, draw, and play―but what happens when she has to face a project she’s never done before?! With encouragement from her best friend, Brady, and some brainstorming with Dad, does Rose’s rocket launcher project turn out to be less than stellar or out of this world?!
Meet the Author:
As a former second grade and elementary art teacher, Lauren Piland is a Louisiana native turned Texas homesteader who knows the importance of engaging read-alouds both in class and at home. After taking a step back from the classroom to raise her second child, she realized the gap some campuses face between the undersupported emotional struggles of students and the overwhelming responsibilities of teachers. “When we can use tools such as books and relatable characters to open up those more meaningful conversations, both at home and in the classroom, it aids in that process of peeling back layers of getting to know each other better and building trust,” says Piland. “Children need to feel seen, feel heard, and feel protected. And we do that by tapping into our emotions.” Piland also wanted to further support teachers by including ready-to-use, curriculum-based exercises to go along with each book that focus on learning objectives such as reading comprehension strategies, vocabulary building and word mechanics exercises, writing prompts, whole group projects and STEM exercises with differentiated versions for students in Pre-K all the way to fourth grade. connect with the author: website ~ facebook ~ instagram ~ pinterest ~ youtube

Book Series Details: Book Series Title: Fearless and Friends by Mother Melania Salem Category: Children's Fictions (ages 3-7), 36 pages Genre: Children's Picture Book Publisher: Holy Assumption Monastery Release date: Feb 28, 2022 Formats Available for Review: print - softback (USA and Canada), e-book (GIFTED KINDLE, MOBI FILE (FOR KINDLE), PDF) Tour dates: May 2 to May 20, 2022 Content Rating: G - This is a wholesome children's book.
I just finished reading all four books in this series of heart-warming, lovable characters, who hold your attention throughout their escapades. After the first book, you know the member of the Pond Community behaving badly will redeem her/himself, but how? That is the question and the surprise and the charm of each book. Oh so subtly, young and old alike learn that happiness comes from living graciously, with courtesy, kindness, respect, and compassion for others. My congratulations to the author, Mother Melania, who enables us to learn valuable lessons without lecturing us, and to her illustrator, Cayce-Marie Halsell, who allows us to see the charming animals of the Pond in action. Part of the charm of the illustrations is that they look like they were done with crayons! I loved the effect. The books are perfect for adults to read to younger children and as books for children starting to read on their own. I bought all four for my Godson -- two for Christmas and two for his birthday in March. I can’t wait to read them to him. - 5-Star Review on Amazon

Meet the Author:
Mother Melania is the Abbess of Holy Assumption Monastery in Calistoga, CA. She grew up in a house that always had tons of children around, her poor parents had to read to her till they were hoarse, and from the moment she learned to read, she always had her nose in a book. So, it was only natural for her to grow up to write children's books. In her books, she strives to teach virtue in a fun, non-preachy way. connect with the author: Amazon

Not only does Lauren do a fantastic job of organizing the tour and communicating with you at every step of the way, but I found the tour hosts that signed up for her tour to be of a higher caliber. The reviews that I got on this tour were thoughtful and well-written and I noticed an uptick in sales during this tour. I also appreciated the fact that many of her tour hosts that wrote reviews posted them on multiple sites, not just on their blog or Instagram account. This is invaluable to an author. I highly recommend Lauren and iReads Book Tours. - Allyson Rice, author of The Key to Circus-Mom Highway
Lauren Carr's iReads Book Tour is amazing! She gets real results. Not only did I get thousands of new eyes on my series, but I grew my following on all social media channels as well. Lauren has a dedicated group of reviewers and bloggers who are competent and reliable - no more wasted ARCs mailed out with no results.
